THE GOOD
ARISE
has won Best Entertainment & Lifestyle Magazine in the first
Nigerian Entertainment and Lifestyle (NEL) Awards UK.
The inaugural awards ceremony, which took place October 28, aims to
recognise the achievements of UK-based Nigerians or Nigerian
organisations in the entertainment and lifestyle industries.
Proceeds from the event go to the Down's Syndrome Association Nigeria
and the Children's Development Centre, supporting disabled children in
Nigeria.

THE BAD
If the christian community and indeed his religious mentors are upset with him; Mr Dakolo is now working to right his wrongs and do what’s right. We’re told he’s recently bought the lady – the mother of his child, an engagement ring from Dubai, and that the live-in-lovers are now warming to get married.
Timi and his partner we’re told, live in Victoria Island in Lagos. And before moving in together, Timi lived in Oniru Estate in Lekki, while his lover lived in an apartment he rented for her in Sangotedo, in Ajah, a Lagos outskirt.
She has also for some time now, been using Timi’s blue Kia Picanto which he won after coming first at West African Idol in 2007.
‘That’s the girl he wants to marry and make a family with‘ a very close Dakolo friend told us last week.
Timi Dakolo, whom friends described as ‘romantic’ and ‘lover boy’ had before now dated Ojia Adamolekun (who’s now believed to be involved with 2face Idibia).
Dakolo, who recently released his long awaited debut album ‘Beautiful Noise‘ to huge critical acclaim, has not said anything about marriage plans. And his minders at Now Muzik say they’re unaware of any love child.
MC Loph and his sister, Chinwe, were laid to rest amid high emotions last Friday, October 28, at their family compound, Ugwuaro, Anambra State.
THE UGLY
The singer met his untimely end on September 14, while traveling to his home town ahead of his traditional marriage. He had a fatal accident which claimed his life on the spot and that of his only sister, Chinwe.
Also the late singer was in the company of his fiancee when he crashed his car into a deep gulley while trying to avoid the dangerous potholes that litter the expressway. But his fiancee survived the crash with minor injuries. .
Prior to his demise the hardworking musician had recently finished recording a duet with Faze in a song title I Know What The Girls Want.
He had recently in the words of a close aide concluded talks with a prominent music video producer, Patrick Ellis to begin shooting of an accompanying video for the new single which currently enjoying air play nation wide.
The singer is most popular for his hit rendition of a remix of Late Osita Osadebe’s hit song, Osondi Owendi’.
