'OUT OF THE BLUE' LISTENING PARTY

 Would you like to host a SMILEY ‘Out Of The Blue’ Pre-lease party? An event held at a venue of your choice (local bar, rooftop, event centre, hotel lounge etc), where the demo is played several times over the stereo system; with Smiley Opening the Mic. Host from different parts of Lagos are to host their own party!

The party should preferably be held in a public place so that hosts and their friends and anyone else who wanders into the venue gets a chance to hear her first four singles: 'Ade Ori Mi, I am Smiley, Oil & Gas, Miracles & Wonders, in its entirety prior to its official release in May! Critics and comments about the tracks should be made to Smiley as this will contribute to the production of the new single.

 These grassroots events will help spread the word about Smiley and the Singles while also providing a great time for fans, old and new. All karaoke parties must take place before the end of May. Please read the rules and guidelines on how to host a SMILEY ‘Out Of The Blue’ Listening Party'.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

1. Hosts are needed in different cities across the Naija. The party can be held either at a venue of your choice (preferably a public place such as your local bar, restaurant, rooftop) but there must be an open mic. The duration of the event should be roughly 2-3 hours.

2. You must indicate your interest in hosting the party via phone call on or before 15th of April giving details about your party such as the date you plan to hold the event, the venue where it will take place, what other festivities you have in mind, how you plan to promote the event, and how many attendees you think you will have (20-30 attendees minimum are required).

 3. Participant must agree to play the songs at least as long as the event is taking place. You may integrate some other favorite Smiley material, but the focus will be to get yourself, and your friends stoked on the new songs on 'Ade Ori Mi, I am Smiley, Oil & Gas, Miracles & Wonders.' If the event is taking place in a public place such as a bar or coffee shop, the owner, bartender or clientele must agree to play 'Ade Ori Mi' and other Smiley Soundtracks for the duration of the event. Most bartenders or clientele should be excited to accommodate you as you will be bringing in business for them, especially if the party is being held at an otherwise generally slow time for them.

4. The Listening Party Kits will be sent to all host to arrive by April 15th. The package will include: Mp3 format of the song, fonts and images from album art to create emails, banners, and widgets to help promote your event on your local blog, MySpace, or Facebook.

5. 'Ade Ori Mi’ must be played on the venue stereo system and not a little iPod speaker or boom box in the corner of the room. It is important that no other music is played in other parts of the venue. You must forward the Mp3 format to all attendees via Bluetooth to complete their out of the blue experience

6. All listening parties need to be documented to prove the event occurred in order to. Digital photos of the listening party are required and video clips if possible. We will upload the photo/video from the listening parties to MySpace and Facebook Pages. 7. Winners are responsible for transportation to and from their requested show and are responsible to supply the digital camera for the photo of them with the band.Smiley appreciates your support in getting the word out about 'Ade Ori Mi!' ,
